Beth makes her mark at the Youth Regionals

Beth Dennis represented the club at the 2018 Youth Regional Championships in Norwich, competing on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th May, in the long course (50 metre) pool.
She competed in the 200, 100 and 50 Breaststroke events, making all 3 finals swimming faster than her short course Pb’s on the Saturday in both the 200 and the 50 which gave her a massive boost for her best event, the 100 on the Sunday.

She finished the finals of the 200 Breaststroke in 5th, 100 Breaststroke in 4th and 50 Breaststroke in 4th place, all with improvements on her PBs.
She also broke all 3 of her own Club records and is hopeful that she has swum fast enough to qualify for the National Champs later in the year. Her qualification is dependent on finishing in the National rankings top 24 and hopes she has done enough to qualify for at least one event.

Well done Beth on these achievements and to what may still be to come.
